You won’t see me sharing my face and taking the credit for the power that travels through my body. I work for Turtle Island and serve No Human. The Spirits and Old Gods who chose to deliver messages and Spells through me have their reasons and their reasons alone. Not for you or I to understand. I can petition them, I can direct the energy, I can help you but remember what I am and who I work for. My readings will always go deeper than the mundane. You are supporting a surivor of MMIR, Murdered and Missing Indigenous Relatives because my Mommy, Lisa Anne Tait, was missing for 12 days before we found her murdered. They closed her case in 2 days with no results and no answers. This work is my life. This is all I can contribute but you will see I am a skilled Magician. Native American European Witchcraft
& MY PRACTICES
Both of my parents are Half Native-Half European. My father was tan and my Mommy was pale like me. I approach race as the fictional construct it is while respecting how much a fictional construct can destroy our world and the people in it. Magick was gifted to humanity in order to stop subjugation and slavery yet here we are, thousands of years later, making the same paleolithic mistakes. Humans were never meant to be separated and defined by color but since we are, I stand firmly with my Black and Brown Gullah, Geechee, Creole, Native, Palestinian, African, Latinx, Asian, Arabic, South Asian, Pacific Islander, Arctic and Oceanic cousins against racism and white supremacy. I stand with all Aboriginal Peoples against the evils of colonialism and so does my Magick. I believe our ancestors were not liars, they were the original scientists of this world, and before they were interrupted they made discoveries that could free us from our own idiotic patterns.
My Celtic Ancestors traveled from The Isles to the islands and coasts of Spain before time was recorded. These are the Galicians, known for bringing Meiga Witchcraft to Pagan Europe. These same Galicians were indentured and oppressed by the pieces of Rome that became Spain, ruled by cannibalistic Anglo-Saxon hoards that called themselves “royal” and “civilized.” When the mainline Spanish colonized the planet in the late 1300‘s they took the Basque, the Portuguese, and the Galicians with them. They mixed into the African, Indian, and Native cultures that the conquistadors destroyed. They rebelled against their originators, no more so when they mixed with the descendants of The Anasazi to become my Pueblo Ancestors. The populace of Abiquiui, followers of Alcoho and his Band of Witches. In the 20th century this side of my Father’s family would mix with the Hungarian Ashkenazi Jews who had only found refuge in 1940’s America and old Bohemia.
My Mommy is Tsalagi. Cherokee. Along with the Mohawk, the Tsalagi split from the Iroquoian language family over 3,000 years ago to become our own people. When we found our home it was already occupied by the Moon Eyed. In order to have a future, we mixed, and created one of Earth’s most technologically advanced civilizations. Cherokee and Pueblos alike traveled the globe, we knew Pharaohs, we watched Rome fall with the rest of the world, we have always been players on a mainstage that has been erased from history. In times of ancient prosperity…we mixed into the cultures of Earth. My Mommy’s Celtic ancestors arrived here twice. Once in the 1100‘s when the Icelandic Vikings integrated themselves into our culture, and again in the 20th century when her Cherokee Mother met her Irish father.
My story is not in any way, shape, or form, unique. Humans are destined to research and build our histories, our families, and our own stories. Every time we do…we discover Magick.
